Mr. Gambino is responsible for structuring, underwriting and managing middle-market debt investments for Freeport.

Prior to rejoining Freeport in 2013, Mr. Gambino served as a Vice President in the Healthcare Finance unit of NXT Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Gambino was a principal in the firm that actively invested and managed the Oppenheimer Distressed Opportunities Fund. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Gambino was an Assistant Vice President at Freeport Financial LLC. He joined Freeport Financial LLC from GE Capital, where he held multiple roles in underwriting, account management and audit. Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Gambino was a staff auditor for Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. Gambino holds a B.S.B.A. in Accountancy from John Carroll University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
